J&J Recalls Infant Motrin

J&J Recalls Infant Motrin

(Washington, DC)  --  Johnson & Johnson is voluntarily recalling around 200,000 bottles of its Infants' Drops Original Berry flavor over concerns they may contain tiny plastic particles.

The company announced the recall after finding the minuscule plastic bits in a different product lot that was not released to the market.  J-and-J's McNeil Healthcare Division said it's unclear if the recalled product is affected, but is conducting the recall out of "an abundance of caution" for the public.  The recall affects bottles with the lot numbers DCB3T01, DDB4R01 and DDB4S01.

People with the product are being asked to stop using the medicine and contact the company for a refund.
