Upsets Over Bonuses for University Presidents

(KFYI News) Arizona college students and parents upset over bonuses for university presidents.

They are angry because two of our three state public university presidents are expected to receive $40,000 dollar bonuses this year.

The issue adds insult to injury for families who are struggling to pay for the rising costs of tuition.

Former Board of Regent, Chris Herstam, believes the pay hikes are justified. He says if you want the best people, you need to pay them well.

Both ASU and University of Arizona presidents could rake in more than $200,000 in bonuses over the next couple of years.
